In an ordinary mirror, the amalgam layer is applied to the back surface of clear glass. In an acrylic mirror, the reflective coating is sprayed directly onto the front surface. Therefore, do not wipe the front surface of the mirror with paper or paper towels, to avoid scratches or the gradual wearing away of the mirror coating and a decline in reflection quality! It cleans beautifully with a slightly damp cloth or microfiber wipe. After wet cleaning, wipe the surface dry. The front side is protected by a film that must be removed after mounting the mirror! The self-adhesive mirror attaches securely to a wall or other surface via an adhesive layer applied to the back of the mirror. A few mounting tips: We recommend removing the protective film from the front surface of the mirror only after you've stuck the mirror in its permanent location. This way you avoid the risk of visible damage and scratches during installation. Before removing the backing from the adhesive side, hold the mirror up to the installation surface. Make sure the surface is as evenly flat as possible. Pay special attention to the joints between tiles or panels. The flatter and more uniform the surface the mirror is glued to, the lower the chance of a distorted reflection. On a flat surface the reflection will be perfect.
