The APTONIA chemical hand warmer set holds heat for up to 6 hours and activates simply on contact with air — no batteries or charging needed. Inside the pouch is a mix of iron powder and activated carbon: contact with oxygen starts a chemical reaction that releases heat, warming the hands in cold weather. Before use, open the pouch, shake it and wait about 10 minutes — activation works best at room temperature around +20°C, though it's also possible at 0°C.
