On the X96 mini, the optical Spdif audio output has been removed, along with the internal Wi-Fi antenna (which is why the signal keeps dropping), the processor is cut down in clock speed and decoding — resulting in a lower-quality picture — and the firmware is very unfinished, with a poorly optimised Android 7. The X96 is a next-generation IPTV box built on the 64-bit Amlogic S905x platform with 2 GB of RAM. It has a built-in Mali-450MP (750MHz) graphics accelerator, which together lets users enjoy high-quality video and other content. It runs a stable version of Android 6.0.1. The box's firmware has been updated, with all the unnecessary Chinese bloatware removed; the box has good cooling, so it does NOT overheat even under heavy load. Fully configured AND TESTED.
