The optical elements are made of BK-7 glass with full multi-layer coating - this gives a bright, sharp image with rich colours. The spotting scope has a comfortable rubber eyecup. A built-in retractable lens hood protects the lens from dew. The body has a threaded socket for mounting the scope on a tripod (a tabletop tripod is included). We recommend always mounting the scope on a tripod to avoid interference from natural hand tremor.
