Heated travel blanket USB, powered by power bank, for tent camping
Description
USB-Heated Travel Blanket (Powered by a Power Bank), for Tent Camping This USB heated blanket runs off a phone power bank with a 2A output. The blanket has 5 heating-element zones, 3 heat settings, and a controller for switching between them. The controller turns on by holding it down for 5 seconds, and turns off the same way. The modes are switched by pressing: green for 35-40°C, blue for 40-50°C, red for 50-60°C. Power draw ranges from 1.2 to 2A (1.2A on green mode, 2A on red). If you have a 10,000 mAh power bank, it will run for about 8 hours on green and 5 hours on red. The power bank is not included. After a long period, the heating switches off automatically. This is designed so your power bank doesn't drain if you happen to step away and forget to turn off the power. This warm blanket was made for people who love autumn and winter hiking trips, where there's often nothing to warm up with besides a campfire. And power banks are always on hand on a hike, and they're easy to charge even from solar power. We all know about electric heating pads that run off the mains. But this is the first electric blanket to appear on the Ukrainian market that runs off a power bank instead of the mains — meaning it's more independent and self-sufficient, free from external power sources. In these turbulent times, heating is often cut off in various parts of the country, so a warm blanket heated by an ordinary battery (power bank) will keep you warm even when there's no electricity in the house. In very low temperatures, it's recommended to cover the electric blanket with another blanket on top. This creates a thermos effect — heat builds up and is held all night or longer, even on the minimum setting. After switching it on, it may seem like the blanket isn't heating at first, but after a while the heating elements warm up, the blanket reaches temperature, and it becomes very warm. This blanket can be placed inside a duvet cover to keep it clean. In windy or open-air conditions, it's recommended to additionally cover the electric blanket with a shiny thermal blanket (found in many first-aid kits), which shields heat very well, reflects cold, and blocks wind or draughts. If you're not sure what to give a loved one…
