The ALT-07S pocket alcohol tester is a digital device with a semiconductor sensor and mouthpiece. This model is intended for personal use as a personal tool for preliminary alcohol intoxication checks. How the ALT-07S works Upon power-on, the device automatically calibrates. Blowing into the tester is done through a plastic mouthpiece for 10 seconds. Measurement results are displayed on the tester's LED screen in two units: mg/L and % BAC. The presence of a semiconductor sensor in the digital tester's design ensures fairly accurate measurements within 0.1 per mille.
