The lids are made of heat-resistant glass with a steam-release valve. The riveted handle-attachment system is not only durable but has also proven that the handles don't heat up together with the pot body. There is a measuring scale inside the pots. The frying pan has a marble non-stick coating. The cookware set is suitable for all types of stovetops, including induction. Care recommendations: Before using the cookware for the first time, wash it in hot water with liquid detergent and wipe it dry. Add salt only to boiling water to prevent white spots forming on the bottom of the pot. Limescale spots and discoloration can easily be removed with vinegar or a citric acid solution. Never use hard objects, metal scouring pads or abrasive cleaning powders to clean it. After washing, the cookware should be wiped dry.
