Description

The DT-832 digital multimeter is a versatile device for measuring the basic parameters of electrical circuits, suitable for household use, electronics repair, checking automotive electrics, working with power supplies, wiring and other electrical tasks. It measures DC and AC voltage, DC current and resistance, and also supports audible continuity testing plus diode and transistor testing. Results are shown on a large 1999-count LCD display, with range selection done manually via the central rotary switch. The DT-832 also has a built-in square-wave signal generator at about 50 Hz, useful when checking electronic circuits, amplifiers and audio equipment.
