It has a metal mesh screen: when it touches fabric, matted fibers get caught in the mesh holes and are cut off by sharp blades positioned behind it. The blades rotate in a circle, fan-like. This rotation creates an airflow that draws the cut fibers into the device. As a result, they collect in a special container on the device housing. The device runs on mains power. When the container is 80% full, open the device, discard its contents, and clean the reservoir with the included brush. Can be used on clothing as well as upholstered furniture, sofas, armchairs, curtains, blankets, and rugs.
