Lithium battery for electric scooters, 48V 16Ah. The 48V 16Ah lithium battery for electric scooters is assembled in a fibreglass-laminate housing 2 mm thick. The battery has an XT60 connector for connecting to the controller and a separate charging port. It's built on genuine Samsung cells, with a BMS control board that protects the battery from short circuits and monitors the charge level of each cell. On discharge, the board switches off the lithium battery if any cell's charge level drops to 2.5 volts. On charge, the board switches the battery off once the cell voltage reaches 4.2 volts. The service life of the lithium-ion battery is roughly 4-5 years. The lithium battery's operating temperature range is from -20 to +40°C. The battery delivers its maximum capacity at +25°C. At lower temperatures, capacity and e-bike range decrease. At -10°C, capacity is about 70% of maximum. In storage mode, when the battery isn't used for a month or more, it's recommended to store it at half charge in a cool, dry place.
