Plasma Pen Coagulator The Plasma Pen coagulator is a portable device that can be used to quickly and safely remove things such as papillomas, warts, small pigmented moles, as well as age spots, freckles, small tattoos and scars, and perform non-surgical blepharoplasty. This device uses a technology that works with ionised gas. The plasma-beam discharge, delivered through the device's needle, has a thermal effect on the skin. Under the influence of the plasma current, a plasma arc forms between the needle and the skin's surface, creating an ablation point; moisture evaporates from fibrillar proteins, and collagen and elastin fibres lose their ability to stretch, causing the structure of each layer of skin to contract. Afterwards, the body triggers natural regeneration mechanisms and synthesises new collagen. The procedure causes no bleeding and does not damage surrounding tissue. The needle acts on the skin across a millimetre-wide air gap, which is why the plasma-lifting procedure is considered non-contact. It has 9 adjustable power levels.
