Engine start-stop button for car, Q4
Description
Engine start-stop button for cars, Q4. The start-stop button with immobiliser (Start 2) is an inexpensive electronic alternative for replacing an old or broken ignition lock with a modern system. The system performs all the functions of a mechanical ignition lock — easily turning on ACC, ignition, or starting the engine — and also offers an increased level of security thanks to the built-in immobiliser. The 1st short press of the start-stop button turns on ACC. The 2nd press turns on the ignition. The 3rd press turns off the power. To start the engine, hold the brake pedal and press the button. The same actions are used to stop the engine. If the engine doesn't start from a short press of the start-stop button, on the next attempt hold the brake pedal and the button until the engine has fully started. The start-stop button only activates after reading an "RFID tag". To remove the mechanical steering-wheel lock, the manufacturer recommends making a copy of the key, inserting it into the ignition lock, turning it to the ACC or ignition position, then cutting off the head of the key; the cut-off key can be covered with a cap or button. Wiring connections are made according to the diagram in the instructions.
