Description

The OSD-F-301 (Trives 2500) anti-decubitus mattress with compressor is designed to prevent bedsores during prolonged bed rest at home or in a hospital. The silent compressor pumps the mattress cells to a pressure matched to the patient's weight, normalizing blood and lymph circulation in compressed soft tissue, massaging the tissue, smoothing out bed irregularities, and increasing the skin-to-bed contact area to reduce pressure on any one spot. The mattress is divided into cells that the compressor inflates alternately in a checkerboard pattern (groups A and B), so the pressure on the body is constantly changing.
