Caring for flannel bedding To avoid lint balls, it's better not to scrub soiled bedding but to soak it in water with a good detergent. When washing this sleep set in the machine, choose the gentlest cycle (say, "Hand wash"). Sets made from one hundred percent cotton aren't afraid of hot water.
